wireless security for boats
Main Page

The latest in wireless security systems for new and used vehicles as well as other high value assets that you want to protect.
This security system is designed to connect you, the owner, to any piece of equipment from computers to cars, yachts and tenders, and even any stationary assets. This device uses wireless communications to establish this connection via specific Active RFID packets,. Basically there are 2 components, a wireless SmartKEY and a signal receiver/controller. The SmartKEY emits a wireless secure packet of information within a specified programmable radius (50 or 400ft) and as long as the packet is received and confirmed by the receiver/controller the asset is only then able to function.

The benefit of wireless signals
The system is comprised of a state-of-the-art wireless 2.4GHz RFID technology packaged in a very small electronic receiver (roughly twice the size of a 9-volt battery) working on a proprietary frequency. The signal is based on radio frequency, or RFID, and provides hundreds of different proprietary packets transmitted to be able to distinguish between different assets and/or different owners/users as well. There are no buttons to push! The connection made between the transmitter and the receiver is automatic. by transmitting packets of information on a proprietary frequency This provides a extremely high level of security rather than forgetting to activate your alarm and becoming a victim.

  Unbeatable security

The Active Smart-keys provide a continuous connection from the owner/user to the asset whatever that may be. Stationary assets can be fitted with hidden controllers to keep a constant invisible eye on it. As long as the assets are within communication range of the transmitter there will be no problems, but if the asset were removed from the vicinity of the proprietary signal longer than the set delay time then an alarm will be set off. Or their function will be disabled this ensures that the asset is only able to operate within range of the transmitter. And if for any reason it is not, it will be rendered completely inoperable and secure from theft and/or unauthorized use.

Also, when used in conjunction with any electronic device a enable/disable feature can be used instead of an alarm. What this does is disable the electronic device when the signal is not within the range of the receiver. For example, when driving your car it will be enabled as long as the smart-key is in communication range with the control system installed in the vehicle. If you parked your car and took the smart-key with you the car will be disabled and cannot be driven as long as the signal is not within the range of the vehicle. That means you can park your car and walk away knowing nobody else can drive your car, even if the key is in the ignition!

Regardless of which method you use the RF tags for you can know that your assets are safe to use and/or securely in place.

Types of transmitters

There are 2 types of transmitters that issue the signal which allow for a variety of different uses depending on the situation.

The first type of transmitter is a stationary centralized which can be activated to cover a large range. This could be used, for instance, in a car dealership for instance to prevent the theft of any of the vehicles when the dealership is closed. As long as the transmitter is turned off none of the vehicles within the dealership can be driven because of the enable/disable function of the receiver/controller. Once the dealership is open again all the vehicles can be enabled simultaneously with a flick of a switch.

The second type of transmitter is a portable and discrete SmartKEY. The SmartKEY can be placed within your pocket and has a programmable range for its RF proprietary signal. Having this portable security can provide user based access of electronic devices when used in conjunction with the circuit enable/disable feature. A computer can only be used by the holder of the appropriate SmartKEY. A car can only be driven by the holder of the appropriate SmartKEY. Any piece of electrical equipment can only be operated by the holder of the appropriate SmartKEY. This is unbeatable security knowing only the holder of the correct smart key can use the equipment installed with the receiver/controller.

The programmable signal also allows the user access to be limited to specific programmed receiver/controller. Let's continue with the car dealership for example. A sales agent with a SmartKEY with signal 'A' can drive any of the new cars because they all have receivers which respond exclusively to the 'A' signal. A sales agent in the used car section carrying SmartKEYs with signal 'B' will not be able to drive any of the new cars. Also, by programming the range of the SmartKEY signal any one sales agent can only enable one vehicle at a time.
