Our advanced TenderTAG system provides unmatched security for your tender, 24/7/365. A pioneer in Tender Security, our proven TenderTAG notifies you by an alarm when your tender is moved beyond a predetermined distance from your yacht. This is accomplished through a proximity based RFID system incorporating an alarm that will sound should your tender become separated from the master craft, whether it be by theft, tow line failure, sinking, or someone trying for a midnight joyride. Monitor your tender at ranges up to 400’
With a TenderTAG receiver mounted in a discreet, undisclosed location on your tender, the tender’s engine can be disabled with the flick of a switch, or simply by you being out of the preprogrammed 100’or 400’ range. This anti-theft application could also be set up to simultaneously flash nav lights/strobe lights and/or sound an alarm. If someone were to try to leave with your tender, they would no get far and they would be very easily found.
While under way, the night time navigation lights required when the tender is in tow, is an easy flick of a switch from the main vessel from up to 400’ away. You can turn nav lights on or off without the necessity, delay and possible uncertainties of boarding in open water.
With a yacht mounted receiver and transmitter in your tender, you can focus on your voyage knowing that your TenderTAG system’s built-in alarm will sound should your tow line fail. While towing vessels at night, a reciprocal system can be set to flash nav/strobe lights on the tender so you both hear when your vessel breaks free and see where it is if it does.
TenderTAG can also be set up in either your tender or main vessel as a wireless kill switch– for those making solo voyages or are on the deck alone. This can be a life saver. A transmitter clipped to your belt or lifejacket ensures the engine will stop completely if you fall overboard. For sailing vessels equipped with autopilot and power sails, a system can be set up to drop the sails and steer full rudder port or starboard, giving you a level of safety previously unavailable to sailors and boaters. This feature can be deactivated from a bypass module should you feel that level of safety is not required. This may be the case when the weather is good or when a full crew is present. Tenders equipped with electronics such as EPIRBs and/or DSCs, TenderTAG can be set up to activate this equipment in the event a solo captain were to fall overboard for any reason including rough seas.
On occasion, divers have been forgotten in the water by their dive captain. While rare, this potentially lethal situation can be prevented by use of a TenderTAG system. Divers simply clip transmitters to their dive tanks or buoyancy compensators. This system can give a visual alert to ensure all divers are accounted for. If someone is missing, they are so indicated by the missing light on a visual display. In cases when all are divers are in the water and the boat unattended, TenderTAG will render the boat inoperable to thieves.
TenderTAG offer you virtually endless options of ensuring your vessel is secure while under tow, tied to the dock, or left unattended on a beach while you and your passengers go exploring. The same applies to operating personnel and passengers. The risks of the marine environment are substantially reduced with TenderTAG. Those include personal tragedies and theft at the dock or on the open seas.
